Top Dog Influencers to Follow on Social Media

 We’re crazy about dogs and we know you are too! Here is a list of some of our favorite instafamous dogs that we adore!

 DougThePug

 @itsdougthepug

Doug the Pug, “author” of New York Times Bestseller The King of Pop Culture, was adopted by Leslie Mosier in the summer of 2012. Leslie found herself taking hilarious photos of her pug doing everyday human activities, such as taking a bathroom break, hanging out at the bar, and going for a slice of pizza. Doug became an instant Internet sensation! With more than 7 million adoring social media followers, people can’t get enough of this loveable dog. Doug spreads love through his delightful and entertaining photos and merchandise.

Tuna
Tuna is a 6-year-old Chiwennie that was rescued by Courtney Dasher in December 2010 in LA when he was four months old. Tuna’s fame grew instantly on Instagram, and today Tuna enjoys over 2 million followers on his social media platforms combined. Rocking an adorably unique look, this underdog with an overbite charms fans with his adventures, spunk, and endearing personality. Courtney’s mission is to raise awareness for rescue groups and shelters by expanding Tuna’s brand. If you and your dogs like to travel, make sure to check out Tuna’s blog, The Traveling Tuna, for tips on the best pet friendly stays around the world.

Marnie
Marnie was found by Animal Control in Connecticut in August 2012. Marine was adopted in NYC, despite health problems, like tooth decay and blindness in one eye. However, not long after adoption, the cloudiness in Marnie’s eye cleared up, and she was able to see clearly once more. As Marnie settled into her new home, her personality began to shine through and she looked to be happier than ever. Today, with over 2 million followers on Instagram, Marnie is one of the most popular rescue dogs on social media. Marine even has her own iTunes app, which lets you add pictures of Marnie the Dog into your photos!

Sir Charles Barkley is a 3-year-old French Bulldog from Seattle, Washington. His owners created his Instagram account just for fun when he was only a couple weeks old, and never in their wildest dreams imaged their Frenchie would gain 482k followers on Instagram (and counting!). With a new app now on the market, the sky's the limit for this cuddly pup. You can download Barkley’s hand drawn sticker app from iTunes so you can decorate your photos with your favorite instafamous dogs!

Boo
Boo is a 9-year-old Pomeranian based out of San Francisco, CA, and is universally adored for his fluffy head and teddy-bear persona. With over 17 million Facebook followers, Boo has become more famous than most human celebrities (with the help of his humans, of course!).
Boo released his first book in 2011, Boo: The Life of the World’s Cutest Dog. This book features Boo enjoying some of his favorite pastimes, such as lounging around, playing with friends, exploring and more! Boo followed his first publication with, Boo: Little Dog in the Big City, which captures Boo shopping, hitting the beach and just being adorable! In 2013, Boo released Boo ABC: A to Z with the World’s Cutest Dog, which features Boo and his friends at their favorite places alongside the letters of the alphabet.

Does your pup have their own social media account? We want to see! Share their handle in the comments below!
